So, apparently I'm one of the few people who, besides pinning, actually goes out of her way and tries to make everything I see on Pinterest. Especially desserts! This weekend, I was looking for some recipes, and I found Sandra Mangas and her blog La Receta de la Felicidad. She has the cutest recipes for kids’ parties, and I loved her pictures. Everything is so well explained, so even if you are not a super cooking pro, you won't have any problem making most of her recipes. The best part is that it’s not just about the baking. The presentation is a big part of her blog, and to tell you the truth, that's what I loved the most. I'm a big fan of food styling, and if you are too, you'll find great decoration and presentation ideas on this blog.
Black & White Nursery

Who said nurseries have to be pink or blue? If you are a fan of a more nordic style you'll love this shop as much as I do. "En las nubes" is the label of a girl from Spain, and in her shop you'll find simple and stylish clothes and decor for baby's room. She uses a lot of graphics and mainly black, white or grey. Combining these elements with wood adds some warmth to the look. If you still want to add a little color, you can always give the room a little pink touch with the paper rabbits I showed you some months ago. Check them out here.
Boho Chic Summer
I'm back! Sorry it took me a while to write a new post! I've been super busy but now that summer is almost here I'm starting to see some of the kids outfits out there... and let me tell you something, summer is not all about a pair of shorts and a t-shirt!
Like every year, I'm a big fan of the Boho Chic look. And this year it's trendier than ever. So, instead of buying the same denim shorts for your girl, try some ethnic prints. Add a scarf, a necklace and a hat! Massimo Duti and Mango for kids have nailed it this season. So check their lookbook for more inspiration. Their dresses collection is, as always, very classy.

Of course, stripes are back like every summer. They are casual but they also have that something
that makes every look classy and elegant. Combine them with a solid color piece (I love combining stripes with red) and a pair of sandals.
DIY
Valentine's Day left us with a lot of ideas, crafts and DIYs. And personally, it left me with an amazing discovery, "La Maison de Loulou". Believe me, if you visit that blog you'll most likely stop whatever you are doing and start crafting! It has the cutest ideas! I can't wait to do some of the DIY projects I've seen there (stay tunned!) The color palettes, the pictures, the displays... I love everything about this blog!
For example this DIY. I know it's late for a love arrow... but hey, who said you can't give love arrows any day of the year?

And what about this rabbit headband? Is the easiest thing ever and is super cute! It's a simple idea for a crafty afternoon or as a goodie for a kids party!

This idea is one of my faves. The chalkboard cats and the speech bubbles. Is a cool way of leaving notes in your kids rooms. And you can do the shapes you want. I'm totally gonna give this a try. It will make a great gift for some of my favorite little ones!
I can't wait to see more stuff from La Maison de Loulou! Another great source for crafts is Mr. Printables. If you want to spend time with your kids doing crafts, this is the place you need to visit first. You'll find hundreds of cool templates. The rest is a piece of cake!
Gift wrapping
I know... I'm late for Christmas! But think about all the kids birthdays you have this year! During these Holidays I found a lot of gift wrapping inspiration. My favorite was the one from Mr.Printables "The animal gift wrapping". As you can see it's the easiest thing ever! All you need is white paper and a pen. And believe me, you don't need drawing skills!

You can do any animal you can think about! I had the idea of using ribbon to make ears and tails. And stacking them is very cool!

Baby it's cold outside
I guess we can say we are looking at a pretty rough winter! Snow storms are covering the states and, of course, a lot of moms are bundling their kids up with every winter item they have in the closet. Makes those Mommy-I-have-to-go-to-the-bathroom runs more adventurous. I don't blame you... It's 58F in Miami, and we're freezing! I can't imagine how the rest of you are dealing with lower temperatures. But anyway, I wanted to put together some warm-outfit ideas your kids can wear without losing the "coolness" these days.
For girls, a pair of Minnetonka shoes are a must, as well as a faux fur waistcoat, which girls can wear with a dress or a shirt. My favorite combination is a waistcoat with a dress and high boots. And, you can find everything on Zara Kids!
For boys... thick sweaters! There's nothing I like more than wool, winter sweaters. Combine them with a shirt and hat or scarf.
